A restructuring of Pacific Empire Radio Corp. will see John Taylor increase his stake from 36.13% of the company to 71.86% and Ben Bonfield increasing his stake from 14.15% to 28.14% as the duo buy out their other partners. The company will purchase Hillcrest Aircraft Company’s 18.16% of the company for $37,500, Cynthia Lamberjack’s 17.8% stake for $30,000, and Debra Taylor’s 10.2% stake for $35,000. Pacific Empire Radio Corp. owns “Hot Country 94.1” KCLK-FM Clarkston WA, Classic Hits “Hit Radio” 95.3 KKBC-FM Baker/105.9 KRJT Elgin OR, Country “98.7 The Ranch” KUBQ La Grande OR, Classic Hits 100.5 KQZB Troy ID, Hot AC “101.5 Cat-FM” KATW Lewiston ID, “Classic Rock 102.9” KVAB Clarkston WA, “Sports Fan” 1430 KCLK/107.3 K297BZ Asotin WA, and Conservative Talk “Supertalk” 1450 KLBM La Grande OR/1490 KBKR Baker OR.

Volodymyr Golovan’s Emerald Management Services will acquire Russian “Slavic Family Radio” 1040 KXPD Tigard/Portland OR from Irina Baranova’s PIN Investments for $1.5 million.

Tabback Broadcasting sells Sports “ESPN 780” KAZM/106.5 K293DA Sedona AZ to Charles Helstein’s Cutter Grind Broadcasting for $390,000. Helstein will flip the station to a Yacht Rock focused Soft Oldies as “Mellow Mountain Radio“.

Hughey Communications, Inc. sells Spanish 1130 WALQ Carrville/Montgomery AL to Autaugaville Radio Inc. for $118,400 to feed 102.7 W274BG Montgomery. The buyer, who also owns Adult R&B “The Big KD” 950 WZKD Montgomery in the market, began operating WALQ via Time Brokerage Agreement on July 1.

After leasing 1510 WXCY Salem NJ to The Voice Radio Network earlier this month, Forever Media has filed to sell the station (now under new WOCQ call letters) for $250,000. The buyer is using the AM to feed Spanish CHR “Maxima 104.1” W281CM Millville NJ.

Radio Punjab AM 1470 LLC is donating 1470 WRPU Anderson IN back to the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. The
Sharanjit Kaur and Sukhdev Singh Dhillon led group had acquired then WGNR and its now cancelled translator 101.3 W267CV Anderson in October 2020 for $129,000.

Danny and Kait Hill’s Hill Broadcasting is converting their LMA of Hot AC “Rewind 98.1” KRWI Wofford Heights CA into a purchase as they exercise their option agreement to acquire the station for $250,000. The Hill’s also own “Outlaw Country 103.7” 1140 KVLI/103.7 K279CZ Lake Isabella CA.

Sleeping Lady Foundation is donating 101.1 KOHO-FM Leavenworth/Wenatchee WA to Washington State University’s Northwest Public Radio. KOHO-FM has simulcast their Jazz 89.9 KJEM Pullman since April 2022.

Vic Michael’s Cedar Cove Broadcasting sells 88.7 KRKY-FM Douglas WY, 88.1 KKWY Wheatland WY and the CP for 88.1 KAVA Kimball NE to Hi-Line Radio Fellowship for $50,000. Michael’s Cheyenne Broadcasting Foundation separately sells the CP for 91.7 KKBE Winchester WY to Hi-Line for $5,000. The buyer operates the regional Christian “Your Network of Praise“.
