92.3 KBear Country KBRYEstrella Media sells 1540 KZMP University Park/Dallas to Dick Witkovski’s North Texas Radio Group for $250,000. KZMP has been operating via STA with 100 watts from a rooftop antenna after Estrella Media sold its tower site in 2021 and dismantled its four tower array where it operated with 32kW day and 75 watts night. KZMP currently simulcasts “La Ranchera 106.7” KZZA Muenster.

New Spirit Revival Center Ministries sells Silent 1000 WCCD Parma/Cleveland OH to Dale Edwards’ DE Media LLC for $600,000 with $500,000 of the purchase price paid in a note due monthly over 30 years. Edwards, who owns Gospel 1460 WABQ Painesville and R&B Oldies “The Drum” 830 WKTX Cortland/Youngstown OH, intends to operate the former Gospel “Radio 1000” WCCD as a non-commercial license. An LMA will start ahead of closing.

WNET is expanding its Long Island Public News/Talk network to a third signal. Currently heard on 88.3 WLIW-FM Southampton and 96.9 W245BA Manorville, the New York City based public media operator will purchase 88.7 WEER Montauk from the estate of Jim Pierce’s Eastern Towers LLC for $100,000. WEER covers the eastern end of Long Island.

Holy Family Communications will purchase Catholic “Holy Virgin Mary Radio” 91.9 WHVM Owego NY from Mt. St. Francis Hermitage. Inc. and “Radio Cormariae” 88.5 WPMW Bayview/New Bedford and 88.5 WRRS Middleborough Center MA from the related Academy of the Immaculate, Inc. for $75,000.

Nebraska Rural Radio Association acquires Country “K-Bear 92.3” KBRY Sargent NE from Mid Nebraska Broadcasting for $1.5 million. KBRY has signal overlap with two other NRRA owned stations: Farm News 880 KRVN and Country “River 93.1” KRVN-FM Lexington NE.

Peter Michael Galinski’s WPPL Mountain Country Radio LLC will purchase Fannin County Broadcasting’s “Mountain Country” 103.9 WPPL Blue Ridge GA $420,000. Galinski will also pay $200,000 to the seller’s North Georgia Radio, LLC for the station’s property and give owner James Timothy White a $340,000 payment for a perpetual non-compete clause.

Jonathan Smith’s Choice Radio NJK Corporation transfers AC “105.9 Jess-FM” WNJK Burgin KY to Karen Moses’ SIM NJK Communications Corporation for $225,000. Moses has been operating WNJK via LMA.
