Curtis Media Group launched AC “Star 94.3” on 1130 WECR Newland/94.3 W232CW Boone NC on Monday, January 10.
WECR had been Southern Gospel “Glory 1130” until the end of November when it launched its translator and began stunting with Christmas music. The station is now featuring Compass Media’s “Anna & Raven” in mornings and positioning as “Adult Hits For The High Country”. The playlist is very 1980s heavy but stretching through today.
