iHeartMedia’s “Sportstalk 790” KBME Houston has announced the addition of Stan Norfleet as part of a new 10am to 12pm show.
Norfleet will be paired with current co-host Chris Gordy as former NFL player ND Kalu deaprts the station to focus on his real estate business. Norfleet joins KBME from Radio One’s 92.7 WFNZ-FM Charlotte where he was co-hosting middays since September 2020. He had a previous stint at WFNZ from 2014-16 and Audacy’s “92.9 The Game” WZGC Atlanta from 2017-19 along with serving as an analyst for ACC Network. Prior to moving into broadcasting, he worked in sales for the NFL’s Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys, NBA’s Houston Rockets and Charlotte Hornets, and MLB’s Washington Nationals as well as a scout for the NFL’s Washington Redskins.
iHeartMedia Houston’s Sportstalk 790 KBME, Houston’s Home for Your Astros, Your Rockets, & Your Home Teams, announced today that Stan Norfleet will join the lineup from 10am-12pm weekdays, effective February 13.
Norfleet, an NFL prospect, played football at the University of Virginia and Texas Southern University. Norfleet later worked for the Houston Texans and the Houston Rockets before transitioning into broadcasting as a host, analyst and sideline reporter.

I have long been a fan and avid listener of Sportstalk 790 and respect the history and contributions of its personalities,” said Norfleet. “My affinity for Space City spans nearly two decades and I look forward to connecting with old friends and new listeners in the market.”

Norfleet will replace Sportstalk 790 host and former NFL player ND Kalu, who is departing to focus on his growing real estate business.
