Southside Steve Rickman Joins Georgia’s Fox-FM Network

100.1 102.1 Fox-FM Fox Atlanta 1260 WMDG East PointFormer “Rock 100.5” WNNX Atlanta morning co-host ‘Southside Steve’ Rickman is joining Georgia Radio Alliance Classic Hits “Fox-FM” for a new morning show alongside Geoff Cole.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Rickman and Cole will debut on Monday, May 15 on the network of signals covering from Atlanta down to Macon. Rickman told the AJC, “We hope to have fun. It won’t be political. It will be about being parents and growing up in Atlanta and having fun here.”

Rickman hosted mornings at WNNX from its launch as “Rock 100.5” in 2008 as part of the “Regular Guys” and later “Bailey & Southside” and “Axel & Southside” shows until moving to afternoons in February 2022 until the brand’s demise last December. He was also part of morning and afternoon shows at “96 Rock” WKLS from 1995 to 2006 and briefly at Country 106.7 WYAY in 2006-07.

Cole previously was morning show producer at WKLS and Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL and then weekend/fill-in host at Cox Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV.
