SiriusXM To Open Miami Studios; Launch Hits Uno

SiriusXM Pandora Sirius XMSiriusXM has announced it will debut its new studios in Miami’s South Beach with a series of programs led by live broadcasts from Howard Stern on May 1.

The new build-out features a 50-seat performance space and several studios located in Starwood Capital’s new headquarters at 2340 Collins Avenue. In addition to Stern, the new building will feature shows including Jon Bon Jovi, Andy Cohen, Jonas Brothers, Pitbull, and others.

SiriusXM will also utilize the new space to launch Spanish CHR “Hits Uno” on channel 321. The channel is described as “the best of today’s pop, reggaeton, dance and viral LatinX music from around the world” with core artists Bad Bunny, Becky G, Bizarrap, Camilo, Karol G, Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Sebastian Yatra and more.

SiriusXM today announced that Howard Stern will bring his legendary show to Miami to officially open SiriusXM’s newest state-of-the-art broadcast complex that will operate from the heart of South Beach, a vibrant center for culture, music, entertainment and more. Stern’s three-day series of special shows – May 1st through the 3rd – will be his first ever broadcasts from Miami and will kick off a star-studded week of programming live from SiriusXM Miami.

Now in his 18th year on SiriusXM, Howard is unrivaled in the world of media, and his show is the home for one of a kind must-listen interviews and daily entertainment that you can’t get anywhere else. The Howard Stern Show will air live from the SiriusXM Miami studios on Monday, May 1 through Wednesday, May 3. Stern will be joined live in the studio by special music and celebrity guests.

To further celebrate, SiriusXM Miami’s official opening week will feature an exciting schedule of special broadcasts and performances across several SiriusXM channels, all originating from the South Beach complex. This also includes the launch of a brand-new Latin Pop channel, Hits Uno.

Inspired by Miami’s rich musical culture and roots, this special programming will showcase some of the biggest names in Latin music, including Anitta, Becky G, Carlos Vives and Pitbull. LL COOL J will also host a special Miami edition of Salute The Sample for Rock The Bells Radio, which will spotlight local hip-hop talent. Andy Cohen, Bailey Zimmerman, John Summit, Jon Bon Jovi, Jonas Brothers, Tinx and more will also take part in broadcasts.

Hits Uno (ch. 321) will debut across the airwaves from SiriusXM’s Miami studios to deliver the best of today’s pop, reggaeton, dance and viral LatinX music from around the world. Listeners can expect to hear hits from Bad Bunny, Becky G, Bizarrap, Camilo, Karol G, Maluma, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalía, Sebastian Yatra and more.

SiriusXM Miami features a 50-seat performance space and several artist-first radio and recording studios, in addition to office space, and is located at 2340 Collins Avenue, in Starwood Capital’s newly opened Miami Beach headquarters.

Monday, May 1 

Bon Jovi New Jersey Album Special: Jon Bon Jovi will take SiriusXM subscribers track-by-track through Bon Jovi’s legendary New Jersey album to celebrate the album’s 35th anniversary. Joined by SiriusXM host Mark Goodman, Jon Bon Jovi will discuss songs including Bad Medicine, I’ll Be There For You and more.

Bon Jovi ‘New Jersey’ Album Special will air on SiriusXM’s Bon Jovi Radio (ch. 709) on Thursday, May 4 at 1:00 pm ET. 

Tuesday, May 2 

Andy Cohen Live: Andy Cohen to host a special edition of his daily SiriusXM show live from the SiriusXM Miami studios. Cohen to be joined by special guests including Jon Bon Jovi.

Andy Cohen Live airs weekdays from 10:00 am – 11:00 am ET on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy (ch. 102). 

Pitbull Interview: Pitbull will sit down for an interview with DJ Ka5 and Racquel Goldy on his exclusive SiriusXM channel, Pitbull’s Globalization. Pitbull will discuss his new single Jumpin featuring Lil Jon, new bi-lingual album and surprise upcoming mega tour.

Pitbull’s interview to air on SiriusXM’s Pitbull’s Globalization (ch. 13). 

Wednesday, May 3

Bailey Zimmerman Performance: Bailey Zimmerman will perform an exclusive and intimate set live from the SiriusXM Miami studios. Hosted by The Highway’s Ania Hammer, the special event will feature a sit-down interview as well as Bailey Zimmerman performing music from his forthcoming full-length debut, Religiously. The Album., available everywhere on Friday, May 12.

Thursday, May 4

It’s Me, Tinx Podcast: Tinx will record a special AMA episode of her SiriusXM podcast in front of a live studio audience at the SiriusXM Miami studios.

It’s Me, Tinx is available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on the SXM App and on all podcast platforms. 

Carlos Vives Performance: Carlos Vives will perform an exclusive and intimate set live from the SiriusXM Miami studios. Hosted by David Domino, Caliente host and one half of the duo Domino Saints, the special event will feature a sit-down interview as well as Carlos Vives performing music from his new album, Escalona Nunca Se Había Grabado Asi and other classics commemorating 30 years in music.

Carlos Vives’ performance to air on SiriusXM’s Caliente (ch. 151) on Friday, June 2 at 1:00 pm ET. 

Off The Grid Radio with John Summit: John Summit will play an exclusive DJ set live from the SiriusXM Miami studios. The special performance will launch John Summit’s new monthly show on Diplo’s Revolution.

Friday, May 5 

Jonas Brothers Hits 1 Celebrity Session: Jonas Brothers will perform an exclusive and intimate set live from the SiriusXM Miami studios. Hosted by Hits 1 Miami’s Mack & Jen, the special event will feature a sit-down interview as well as the Jonas Brothers performing music from their new album The Album, which is scheduled to be released on Friday, May 12.

SiriusXM Hits 1 Celebrity Session with Jonas Brothers to air on SiriusXM Hits 1 (ch.2) on Friday, May 12 at 12:00 pm ET and PT.  

Becky G Town Hall: An intimate conversation with Becky G in front of an audience of subscribers and fans at the SiriusXM Miami studios. Becky G will be discussing her first album of regional Mexican music and more.

SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Becky G will air on SiriusXM’s Caliente (ch. 151) on Friday, May 19 at 1:00 pm ET and on Hits Uno (ch. 321) on Friday, May 19 at 5:00 pm ET.

Salute The Sample “Miami Edition” on LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Radio: LL COOL J, DJ Z-Trip and Greg Nicehost a special Miami edition of Salute The Sample with DJ Khaled, Uncle Luke, Trick Daddy, and Trina. The show will break down some of their songs and the samples they came from.

Salute The Sample will air on LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Radio (ch. 43) Saturday, June 3 for All City Day – Miami.

Additionally, SiriusXM will have weekend long coverage of the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX on May 6 and 7. On Saturday, May 6, SiriusXM will air live coverage of qualifying starting at 4pm ET followed by a live episode of Speed City F1, hosted by Jon Massengale, Bob Varsha, and Jonathan Green. On Sunday, May 7, SiriusXM will air the race live from start to finish. Pre-race coverage starts at 2:30 pm ET. SiriusXM’s F1 programming airs onchannel 81 and on the SXM App.
