Black Diamond Broadcasting has announced the promotion of Shannone Dunlap to Executive Vice President and General Manager of the company’s nine brands in Northern Michigan.
Dunlap, who currently also serves as Chairperson of the Michigan Association of Broadcasting’s Board, has been with Black Diamond as Director of Business Development since October 2017. Through her career Dunlap has served as General Sales Manager for Cumulus Flint, CBS Radio Buffalo, Emmis Indianapolis, and General Manager in Saginaw of the NextMedia turned Digity turned Alpha Media cluster from 2007 to 2017.
In her new role, Dunlap will oversee strategic operations and management for Black Diamond Broadcasting’s portfolio of stations and digital division. Black Diamond co-owner/CEO Mike Chires commented, “Shannone continues to enhance her already stellar broadcasting career by being appointed Executive VP, General Manager of Black Diamond Broadcasting.
