iHeartMedia AC “Mix 99.5” WMAG Greensboro NC has debuted a new morning show hosted by Scotty Blaisdell and Hannah Tyler.
Blaisdell spent the last three decades in Honolulu first hosting nights and afternoons at CHR “I94” KIKI-FM before moving to mornings at Alternative “Star 101.9” KUCD in 1999 and then News/Talk 830 KHVH in 2018. He also hosted middays on AC 92.3 KSSK-FM from 2011 until his exit last October.
Tyler most recently served as morning co-host and midday host at Cumulus Media Country “98.1 K-Bull” KBUL-FM Reno from 2016 to 2020. She also has worked in Fargo ND and St. Cloud MN in her career.
The duo succeed Matt Pencola and Lora Songster in mornings at WMAG, where they quietly exited last November. Pencola held multiple roles in the cluster from 1998 to 2017 including on-air at Talk 94.5 WPTI and Rock “105.7 Man Up” WVBZ prior to exiting in a previous layoff. He returned the following year in a sales position before moving to mornings at WMAG. Songster spent 36 years at WMAG starting in 1986 first in middays and then mornings.
