In a blog post about her departure she wrote, “Because of personal hardships of these last few years, I started to do some reevaluating in these last few months. After a lot of thought and back and fourth, I have made the decision to finish my contract, and take a step back away from radio. My last day at K102 will be on Tuesday, January 31st. This was not a decision I made lightly, and it may not be a forever decision. BUT, I feel like at this moment, I am being tugged to make this leap.”
