Three months after returning to Bonneville’s “Sactown Sports” 1140 KHTK Sacramento, Kevin ‘Whitey’ Gleason is moving to 2-6pm alongside Kyle Draper.
Gleason has been a regular on-and-off in Sacramento radio since 1989 mostly as part of “The Rise Guys” first on 93.7 turned 98.5 KRXQ before moving to KHTK from 1999 until 2011. After the show moved to San Francisco in 2011, Gleason and Mark Kreidler would return to the market to host afternoons on “ESPN 1320” KCTC from 2014-19. He returned to the station in July as midday co-host alongside Chris Watkins.
Draper has served as television pre and post-game host and radio play-by-play voice for the NBA’s Sacramento Kings since 2020 and will continue in those roles. He previously spent eleven years as part of Boston Celtics broadcasts on NBC Sports Boston and was Sports Director for WHAS-TV Louisville.
Middays will be rebranded as “Chris Watkins and Co.” from 10am-2pm,
Sactown Sports 1140AM is proud to announce its new afternoon show “The Drive Guys” with Kevin Gleason and Kyle Draper beginning Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 2-6 p.m.

Kevin Gleason recently re-joined Sactown Sports in middays. Previously, he was part of the “Rise Guys” morning show from 1999-2011. Kyle Draper is the Sacramento Kings pre and postgame host on NBC Sports California and was previously an anchor/host at NBC Sports Boston.
Beginning Oct. 4, the Sactown Sports 1140AM line-up will be:
6 – 10 a.m. The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Chris Watkins and Co Show
