Bryan Broadcasting CHR “Candy 95” KNDE College Station TX has announced the addition of Ryan Star as their new midday host.
The Houston area native joins KNDE from Cumulus CHR 104.1 KRBE Houston where he was working in promotions and as a weekend host.
KNDE Program Director Rob Mack also notes that the station is reopening its search for a morning co-host. He states, “We found some good candidates out there, but we were pulled in a lot of directions. Now that we have mid-days solidified, we are putting the call out again for a co-host to join Ted in the morning. We are looking for a sociable, strong, fresh talent who wants to be involved in their community. Strong on-air, on social and on camera. Competitive salary for the market size. #1 ratings await you, so if you want to be a big fish in a great area…this is your shot. Find Bryan/College Station on a map, look up a little about Candy 95, and then send me all of your best stuff to: careers@bryanbroadcasting.com and rob@bryanbroadcasting.com”
Candy 95 (KNDE-FM) has named Texas native Ryan Star as their new mid-day on-air personality. Ryan will broadcast live from the Candy 95 studios in Aggieland each weekday from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. He comes to Candy 95 via KRBE/Houston, where he was handling weekend duties.
Ryan says, “I am beyond thrilled to have been given this opportunity at Bryan Broadcasting and Candy 95. Coming from Houston, it is amazing to be able to do the job I love every day in a place that is so close to home. I cannot wait to get to know our great listeners and see all that Aggieland has to offer!”
Bryan Broadcasting OM & Candy 95 PD Rob Mack says, “We searched far and wide and found the best talent right in our part of the world. Ryan grew up listening to Top 40 radio and got his start the way many of us did…working the street team. I’m glad to give him a full-time slot here on Candy 95. He brings some great energy to mid-days, and I’m sure our loyal listeners will enjoy his show”.
Ryan officially started in mid-days back on May 24.
