Ronnie Ramone Joins WOMG/WTCB As Program Director

B106.7 WTCB 98.5 WOMG ColumbiaCumulus Media has appointed Ronnie Ramone as Program Director of Columbia SC market Classic Hits 98.5 WOMG Lexington and AC “B106.7” WTCB Orangeburg SC.

Ramone has previously spent his entire career in his native Pennsylvania where he programmed Hall Communications AC “101 The Rose” turned Hot AC “Fun 101.3” WROZ Lancaster from 2006 until its 2021 sale to Educational Media Foundation. He also served as PD of Cumulus Rhythmic CHR “Hot 92.1” WWKL Harrisburg from 2002-2005 and Promotions Director and APD of Clear Channel CHR “FM 97” WLAN-FM Lancaster from 1999 to 2002.

CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has appointed Ronnie Ramone as Program Director for Adult Contemporary radio station B106.7/WTCB-FM and Classic Hits station 98.5 WOMG-FM in Columbia, SC. Ramone brings over 20 years’ experience to Cumulus Columbia and was previously Program Director/Brand Manager for Hall Communications’ AC/Hot AC-formatted WROZ-FM and WONN-FM (Sports) in Lancaster/York, PA, for 14 years. Prior to that, Ramone was Program Director and On-Air Personality for Cumulus Media’s Rhythmic AC station WWKL-FM in Harrisburg, PA. He was also On-Air Personality, Promotions Director and Assistant to the Program Director for Clear Channel Radio/iHeartMedia’s WLAN-FM (Mainstream CHR) in Lancaster, PA. Ramone holds a B.A. degree in Communications and Media Studies from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where he started his radio broadcasting career as a DJ for his college radio station, WIXQ-FM.
