Robby Bridges Rises To WWZY VP/Programming

107.1 The Boss WWZY Long Branch 99.7 WBHX TuckertonPress Communications has announced it has promoted Robby Bridges from Director of Programming to VP/Programming for Classic Rock “107.1 The Boss” WWZY Long Branch/99.7 WBHX Tuckerton NJ.

Bridges, who also co-hosts mornings with his wife Rochelle Gagnon, joined WWZY in September 2021 after previously serving as VP/Programming for MacDonald Garber Broadcasting in Traverse City MI and PD of CHR 105.9 WKHQ. He has also served as Director of FM Programming for Cumulus Media Detroit and Operations Manager of Townsquare Media Portsmouth NH, Program Director for AC “WEBE 108” Westport CT, AC 103.9 WFAS-FM White Plains NY, and APD of 95.5 WPLJ New York.

Bridges takes the VP/Programming role from Jeff Rafter, who he previously succeeded as Program Director of WWZY. Rafter, who continues to cut back on his duties, continues to program Gold AC “The Breeze” 1410 WHTG/100.7 W264DH Eatontown.

Press Communications has upped WWZY/WBHX (107.1 The Boss) Director of Programming Robby Bridges to Vice President, Programming of the stations, effective immediately. In this enhanced role, Robby will continue to oversee all aspects of programming, talent, marketing and promotion of the classic rock brand simulcast on 107.1 WWZY Long Branch, NJ and 99.7 WBHX Tuckerton, NJ. In addition, Robby continues to co-host morning drive on “Robby and Rochelle in the Morning” which he’s done since arriving at the station in September of 2021.
