Rizzo & Jeff Join Radio 95.1 For Afternoons As Earl David Reed Show Exits

iHeartMedia Hot Talk “Radio 95.1” WAIO Honeoye Falls/Rochester NY continues to revamp its on-air lineup with the addition of Rich ‘Rizzo’ Deaver and Jeff Daly as afternoon hosts.

“Rizzo and Jeff” most recently hosted mornings at MacDonald Garber Broadcasting CHR “106 KHQ” WKHQ-FM Charlevoix/Traverse City MI until exiting in early 2020. The duo also worked together at CHR “98.7 Amp Radio” WDZH Detroit where Daly co-hosted mornings and Deaver was the producer. Under the on-air name ‘Rat Boy’ and later just ‘Rat’, Daly also co-hosted afternoons at “Q102” WIOQ Philadelphia, and nights at 93.3 WFLZ Tampa with Josh ‘Puff’ Foreman. Rizzo previously hosted mornings at Classic Rock 94.3 WQCM Hagerstown MD and CHR “92.9 The Beat” KOSP Springfield MO. He was also part of “The Todd Show” on WPLJ New York under the on-air name ‘Meatballs’.

With the addition of Rizzo and Jeff, WAIO has ended the Earl David Reed Show. Reed, a touring comedian, joined the station in August 2020 from mornings at Cumulus Media Alternative “105.7 The X” WQXA York PA. Reed has also worked at WPLR New Haven, KBUL and KURR Salt Lake City and WCMF Rochester. Unknown is the status of co-host Megan Carter, who also tracked nights on sister “Country 100.5” WDVI. Producer/co-host Mark Maira remains with the station.

This is the second lineup change in as many weeks at WAIO. The station debuted a new late morning show “Newman and The Mayor” hosted by Jeremy Newman and Pete ‘The Mayor’ Kennedy from 9am to 11am last week.
