Riggs To Depart Mornings At 103.7 Kiss-FM Milwaukee

103.7 Kiss-FM WXSS MilwaukeeAfter nine years in mornings at Audacy CHR “103.7 Kiss-FM” WXSS Wauwatosa/Milwaukee WI, Andy Riggs has announced he will depart the station at the end of the week for an opportunity in a bigger market.

In a Facebook comment after making the announcement on-air this morning, Riggs wrote, “There’s never a ‘right’ or a ‘wrong’ way to handle leaving a job. Until your shoes are on in the moment, all you can do is go with your gut. I was ready to throw my heart into my nonprofit, HeartHead, and help people pay for therapy full time. But this new opportunity came knocking in all the right ways. I told Alley as soon as I knew it was the right thing for me and my family. She’s hurting. I know she is. She was the hardest person to tell because it impacts her the most. In the end, we will all be okay. It may be the series finale of Riggs & Alley, but Alley is and has always been the constant on Kiss and whomever they bring in next will compliment her beautifully. This is an outstanding radio station and I’m honored to have been part of 103.7 KISS-FM Milwaukee.”

Riggs joined WXSS in 2013 after previously hosting afternoons at iHeartMedia’s “97.3 Radio Now” WRNW-FM in the market. He has also served as APD/evening host at CHR “Radio Now 100.9” WNOU Indianapolis and Program Director of “Kiss 105.3” WYKS Gainesville and “98.1 Kiss-FM” WKXJ Chattanooga.

Alley Faith, who has been part of the WXSS morning show since 2004, will remain in place with Audacy conducting a search for a new co-host.
