Renee DiNino To Retire From WHCN

Renee DiNino iHeartMedia 105.9 The River WHCN HartfordiHeartMedia Classic Hits “The River 105.9” WHCN Hartford CT has announced that cluster Director of Community Affairs & Community Programming and midday host Renee DiNino will retire from the station at the end of the month.

DiNino’s final program will be her community affairs show that airs on all of iHeart’s Connecticut stations on Sunday, June 30. She been with the station for nearly two decades. The company noted DiNino’s numerous community service activities and Humanitarian Awards serving on multiple boards and committees including Kenway’s Cause, Inc, Connecticut FoodShare, Operation Fuel, Special Olympics Connecticut and Autism Speaks, amongst others. She also has worked with Connecticut Legislatures on the passing of an animal advocacy bill and working with Campaign for Bully Free Communities as an Ambassador and is a champion of children’s causes and literacy and military/veteran centered nonprofits.
