Relevant Radio Expands In Austin & Houston

Relevant Radio Immaculate Heart MediaRelevant Radio is continuing its expansion with the purchase of three translators in Texas from Carlos and Mary Lopez for $1 million.

The Catholic network will add 103.9 K280GN Austin to pair with their 970 KIXL Del Valle and 105.1 K286CX Round Rock. K280GN had been rebroadcasting 1060 KFIT Austin until its sale to Township Media earlier this year.

In Houston, Relevant Radio acquires 92.3 K222CX serving northern parts of the city and 96.9 K245CQ covering the areas just south and west of Downtown. Relevant Radio is already heard on 1110 KTEK Alvin and 96.1 K241CM Houston. K222CX had been rebroadcasting 1140 KYOK Conroe, while K245CQ carried the programming of 1360 KWJJ Baytown.

John Saunders served as broker of the sale for the Lopez’s.
