Red Apple Music Networks is launching “The Vinnie Medugno Show” into syndication.
Currently heard on Saturdays from 5-6pm on Red Apple Media’s 770 WABC, the show focuses on music from the 1960s with a bit of 50s and 70s. Medugno is a performer and DJ in the New York area. Prior to joining WABC, he previously worked as a producer, board op, and fill-in host at 101.1 WCBS-FM.
Medugno commented, “It’s as if everything I’ve done professionally suddenly came together for the opportunity to host my own oldies radio show. I’m having so much fun connecting with listeners and bringing in guests to share their stories about their careers and their music. I’m looking forward to taking that excitement to listeners across America.”
Red Apple Media President Chad Lopez said, “Vinnie brings a fresh approach to the oldies and radio. His charisma reaches across the airwaves to regale listeners with wonderful stories about oldies hits. Vinnie’s enthusiasm for the music of the ’60s creates a strong connection with his listeners.”
