Randy Rundle Retirement Leads To Morning Show Musical Chairs At Midwest Peoria

Randy Rundle will retire from his Brand Manager/morning host roles at Midwest Communications AC “Mix 106.9” WSWT Peoria IL on Friday, December 29.

Rundle will conclude his 52 year radio career. He has been with WSWT in those roles since 1990 after a previous stint from 1984 to 1987. He also served as Operations Manager for the cluster from 1990 until 2019. Rundle oversaw the station’s rebrand from “Lite Rock 107” to “Mix 106.9” in December 2014. Mike ‘Stetch’ Stechman, who hosts middays at WXCL and afternoons at Classic Hits “93.3 The Drive” WPBG will take over mornings on The Wolf..
