Cumulus Media’s “Cat Country 95.1” KATC Colorado Springs has announced the addition of Raj Sharan to the station as afternoon host.
Sharan had served as Program Director at Bonneville Sports “104.3 The Fan” KKFN-FM Longmont/Denver from February 2019 until his departure in November. He also spent five years at Front Range Sports Network in Denver with stints as a producer, update anchor, traffic reporter, beat reporter, host, and finally Assistant Program Director.
Various fill-ins including cluster traffic reporter Shaun Martinez has been hosting afternoons since the departure of Brian Taylor in July 2022.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has appointed Raj Sharan as On-Air Personality, Afternoon Drive, for Cat Country 95.1/KATC-FM in Colorado Springs. Sharan will also serve as Promotions Director for the station. Sharan was previously Program Director for 104.3 The Fan and ESPN 1600 in Denver, CO. He also did play-by-play radio broadcasts for the University of Denver Men’s Basketball games and was Assistant Program Director, On-Air Host, Executive Producer, and NBA Beat Writer for 105.5 ESPN in Denver. He can be heard on Cat Country 95.1 weekdays from 3:00pm-7:00pm, and debuts on Tuesday, February 13th.
