“The last 18 months have been challenging for all of us due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time we all had to endure a number of lock-downs and at Sunrise Radio we understood that the radio station would become a lifeline for many people being isolated at home.
“The Sunrise Radio presenters continued to communicate and entertain our listeners many of them broadcasting from home. We also made it, our mission to ensure our audience was well informed with regards to all aspects of pandemic and how they best stay safe and keep others safe.
“Also during this time I recognised that a number of charities were struggling and through Sunrise we gave them support. There are still some challenges ahead, but by working together we can make a difference.
“The Team and I would just like to say a big thank you to the Asian Media Awards for putting on a great event and bringing Asian media and talent into the spotlight.”
