Radio broadcasters who worked at Capital and Chiltern during the 80s and 90s gathered for a reunion on Friday organised by Shaun Tilley.
Gary King, Neil Fox, Francis Currie, Mark Wesley, Gavin & Ingy McCoy, Dave Sherwood, Tony LLoyd, Alex Dyke, Howard Pearce, Stephanie Hirst, Neil Francis, Pat Murphy, Steve Hyland, Martin Buchanan & Paul McKenna gathered at The George Pub in Great Portland Street.
They shared their memories of an era in radio when DJs used carts, records and indeed were lucky enough to choose their own music.
More events are planned for next year including The Radio 1 Roadshow 50th anniversary and a memorial for Ronan O’Rahilly, the late founder of Radio Caroline.
