iHeartMedia Adult R&B “V101.5” WSOL falls 8.1 – 7.3 – 6.5 following Cox’s move of competing “Hot 106.5” WHJX from a translator to the full-powered signal as it rises 1.7 to 2.6.
iHeartMedia Rock “107.3 Planet Radio” WWJK (and switched back to its heritage WPLA call letters as of this week) rises 4.3 to 5.0. The downgrade of Cox Alternative “X99.5” from 106.5 to the WOKV-HD2 fed translator hasn’t hurt it as it holds at a 1.6.
Greensboro/Winston-Salem
Audacy Adult R&B 97.1 WQMG rises 11.2 – 13.6 – 14.0 for its largest share since January 2022. Audacy’s Variety Hits “98.7 Simon” WSMW slides 12.5 – 11.1 – 10.4. iHeartMedia AC “Mix 99.5” dips 7.8 to 7.5. Both CHRs rise with Dick’s 107.5 WKZL up 2.9 to 3.2 and iHeartMedia’s “Hits 100.3” WMKS rising 2.1 to 2.6.
