I’ve been out of town and out of the loop. I’m just learning the awful news that my @WTOP colleague Dimitri Sotis has passed away unexpectedly. This is just startling news. He helped train me as a #newsanchor there in 2023. My condolences to his family and friends. pic.twitter.com/sDtlIcAmGY

I am devastated about the sudden loss of Dimitri Sotis, who was the evening news anchor at @WTOP. He was great on the air but even better as a person, who brought everyone in the newsroom together.
It was an honor to have worked with him. May he rest in peace!! https://t.co/In21w64e4c
