Superadio’s Hip Hop mixshow “Radio Bassment” with Eric ‘DJ E-Rock’ Nagrampa is launching a Top 40 edition of the show on iHeartMedia CHR “Wild 94.9” KYLD San Francisco.
E-Rock moves to KYLD after fourteen years at Bonneville CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ and will be heard starting Friday, January 10 from 11pm to 1am and will be made available to other interested stations. The new “Radio Bassment Top 40 | Club Edition” is described as blending chart-topping hits with exclusive remixes and club favorites. The Hip Hop edition is heard on stations including KRRL Los Angeles, KKFR Phoenix, and KYMT-HD2 Las Vegas. The mixshow entered syndication in 2018.
DJ E-Rock commented, “It’s a full-circle moment to come back to where it all really started for me. To team up with such a legendary brand like Wild 94.9 to create a great on- air experience in San Francisco is uncanny. I look forward to talking to my hometown weekly shortly.”
KYLD Program Director Dan Hunt said, ““Having DJ E-Rock back on Wild 94.9 is a huge win for the station and the Bay Area. E-Rock is a true icon in the local music scene, and his ability to connect with listeners is unmatched. Radio Bassment Top 40 | Club Edition will bring a fresh energy to Friday nights, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him home to the Wild 94.9 family.”
Superadio President Eric Faison added, “E-Rock and the Radio Bassment team keep raising the bar as to what a great mix show is all about. The Top 40 world is more than ready for a mix show with that E-Rock Bassment flavor and I can’t think of a better brand to kick it off with than Wild 94.9.”
