The Radio Academy is holding a free event on the subject of mental health.
Anyone is invited to join in the virtual occasion, without needing to be a member of the Radio Academy.
Host Swarzy Macaly from KISS weekend breakfast will chat to a panel consisting of Beat 103 (Preston) presenter Jadie Swales-Barnes, former talkSPORT Programme Manager Matt Smith, broadcaster Sam Delaney and BBC presenter and producer Seani B.
The Academy says: “We’re getting better at talking about our feelings and supporting the mental health of our listeners – but what about looking after ourselves and our colleagues?
“Marking World Mental Health Day, we’ll come together to share the experiences and thoughts of those working in radio and audio, and to talk about how we can look after ourselves and support each other.”
You can register for the event, happening on October 11th 2021 at 1pm here.
