Tower Broadcasting has completed its sell-off in Elmira NY with the sale of Country 99.5 WOKN Southport/102.5 W273AC Corning and CHR “94 Rock” 1600 WLVY Elmira Heights-Horseheads/93.9 W230BB Elmira/96.7 W244EC Corning and 1410 WELM/106.5 W293CZ Elmira to Radigan Media for $100,000.
The deal is only for the stations licenses and IP. A separate agreement has been agreed to for the real estate. Radigan began operating the stations via Time Brokerage Agreement on January 1. The Dave Radigan led company owns five other stations and five translators along the New York/Pennsylvania border between Elmira and Binghamton.
The sale of the stations follows Tower’s $450,000 sale of WLVY’s former home at 94.3 Elmira to Family Life Ministries last year. The Gordon Ichikawa led company retains AC “V98.3” WVIN and Country 1380 WABH/100.3 W262CX Bath NY.
