iHeartMedia has announced the promotion of Rachel Elliot to Director of Country Programming for eight stations in Kentucky and West Virginia.
Elliot will oversee 97.5 WAMZ Louisville, “98.1 The Bull” WBUL and “98.5 The Bull Icons” WBUL-HD2 Lexington, “K93” WSEK-FM and “Icons 910” WSEK Burnside/Somerset KY, “103.3 TCR Country” WTCR-FM Huntington WV, 98.7 WOVK Wheeling WV, and “107 WNUS” WNUS-FM Belpre OH/Parkersburg WV. She will be based in Louisville.
Elliot joins the Country stations from Rock 102.7 WEBN Cincinnati where she was Digital Program Director and midday host since 2018, while also tracking for dozens of Country and Rock stations across the country. She previously served as Online Content Coordinator for iHeart Cincinnati from 2012-15 and was digital host for Fox Sports Detroit from 2016-18.
She succeeds Ashley Wilson overseeing the Kentucky stations following Wilson’s move to “96.9 The Kat” WKKT Charlotte last September.

Rachel Elliot joins iHeartMedia Kentucky/West Virginia from iHeartMedia Cincinnati where she most recently served as Digital Program Director and On-Air talent at the legendary WEBN, while also serving as a national talent for the iHeartCustom/Format Center brands with a specific focus on Country and Rock; appearing weekly on 35+ stations across the United States. Rachel began her career as an intern in Chicago for iHeartMedia’s KISS 103.5 and is a graduate of DePaul University.
