National Radio Talent System (NRTS), a division of RAB, announces today that this year’s Radio Talent Institutes are scheduled to take place in person across various college campuses late spring and early summer.
GAB Radio Talent Institute at Grady College, University of Georgia – May 13-18, 2024
IBA Radio Talent Institute at Columbia College – May 13-18, 2024
Confer Radio Talent Institute at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania – May 20-25, 2024
KBA Radio Talent Institute at Western Kentucky University – June 3-8, 2024
Kellar Radio Talent Institute at Appalachian State University – June 3-8, 2024
Initially developed by NRTS Founder Dan Vallie, the unique hands-on and immersive program enables students to participate in sessions, that include career disciplines including on-air delivery, sports, news, promotions, production, podcasting, engineering, digital and sales, as well as completion of RAB’s Radio Marketing Professional certification course.
During 2023, the National Radio Talent System successfully produced three radio talent institutes at Appalachian State University, Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and Grady College at the University of Georgia.
“Following last year’s success, we are excited to plan and produce five Radio Talent Institutes in 2024,” noted Erica Farber, president and chief executive officer, RAB. “Students will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best in radio, network and connect with leading broadcasting professionals, and jumpstart their careers.”
