After stunting as “Christmas 98.5” since its move-in to Grand Forks ND in late October, Jordan Zeller’s Valley Broadcasting launched Classic Hits “98 ½ – Q98” KQYZ Emerado at 12pm on Christmas Day.
The new format is focusing on pop hits from the late 1970s through early 2000s creating a format competitor to iHeartMedia’s “96.1 The Fox” KQHT Crookston MN. The station will continue to carry North Dakota State University and Green Bay Packers football.
