PromoSuite Co-Founder Chris Bungo Steps Down

Chris Bungo PromoSuiteFollowing Banyan Software’s purchase of PromoSuite last year to merge it with its vCreative, founder Chris Bungo has stepped down from his position as Technology Consultant.

Bungo agreed to stay on for 2024 as a consultant following last February’s acquisition. He said, “It has been a pleasure working with vCreative’s Senior VP of Technology David Singleton and his tech and development team. Under the leadership of CEO Mary DelGrande, Senior VP Product Operations Wendy Pershing and Singleton, the merged vCreative/PromoSuite is well-positioned to continue to maintain their client’s success.”

Bungo and co-founder Rocco Macri built the radio industry’s first “workflow software” tool in 1992 and oversaw its success for 32 years. Bungo will now focus his passion-project ChrisBungoStudios.com that has become the world’s largest catalog of “then and now” filming locations with sites dating back to 1915. He commented, ““Over the past ten years, I’ve created close to 150 filming location documentary videos and assembled around 2,000 ‘then and now’ filming location photo comparisons. Everything from early Charlie Chaplin films and The Little Rascals, to The Twilight Zone, Madonna music videos and even The Sopranos locations. It’s a fascinating way to time-travel, and while it’s been a hobby until now, I’m looking forward to devoting my attention to it full-time.
