Pillar Media Promotes Tony V & Becky Ross To Denver Program Director Roles

Morning host ‘Tony V’ Valdez rises to PD of Christian Hip Hop “Flo 107.1” KFCO Bennett. Valdez originally joined the station under its former Classic Hip Hop format in 2022 and remained following the sale to Pillar and flip earlier this year.

Valdez has spent his entire career in Denver radio. After a brief stint at then R&B 1510 KDKO, the Denver native joined then Rhythmic CHR “KS 104.3” as late night host in November 1994. He would move to middays in 1999 and stay there until 2016 followed by a brief run in afternoons. He moved to mornings in May 2017 alongside ‘DJ Chonz’ and “Ya Girl Cedes’. He then hosted mornings solo from January 2018 until his departure from KQKS in May 2022. Valdez also spent time at Country 98.5 KYGO as overnight and then afternoon host between 2013 and 2015.

She commented, “It is such a privilege to continue the legacy of Christian broadcasting at KPOF, which has faithfully served the Denver Metro area for 96 years. It’s incredible to watch God work through Pillar Media in our uplifting ministry in media.”
