Audacy Sports 94.1 WIP Philadelphia has announced a five year extension of its rights partnership with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles through the end of the 2028 season.
Eagles games have been heard on 94.1 since 1992 by WIP and predecessor Rock WYSP. Prior to that, 610 WIP carried the games from 1969 to 1991.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Audacy, the country’s unrivaled leader in sports talk radio, have announced a multi-year extension to their 30-year partnership through the 2028 NFL season. As part of the new agreement, SportsRadio 94WIP (WIP-FM) will continue to serve as the team’s official flagship radio partner.
“We have been very fortunate to enjoy a longstanding partnership with 94WIP – one that dates back more than three decades,” said Don Smolenski, Philadelphia Eagles President. “David Field, David Yadgaroff, and so many others at Audacy have played an important role in shaping this successful relationship, including the station’s many loyal listeners over the years.”
Through the fully integrated partnership, SportsRadio 94WIP will continue to broadcast all Eagles preseason, regular season, and postseason games, as well as pregame and postgame shows every game day. The broadcast team is led by Eagles Hall of Famers Merrill Reese and Mike Quick in the radio booth and longtime 94WIP personality Howard Eskin on the sideline.
“We are excited to extend and expand upon our partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles and continue to be the ultimate destination for Eagles fans,” said David Yadgaroff, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Philadelphia. “Starting this season, fans have been able to listen to every Eagles game via the free Audacy app on their smartphone or smart speaker, as well as the radio. 94WIP takes tremendous pride in superserving the best fans in the NFL, and we look forward to giving Eagles fans a home for every memorable moment on the field and every storyline off of it throughout the years to come.”
