Payton Whitmore Joins Johnjay & Rich As KZZP Revamps Lineup

Payton Whitmore, who has spent the past year as an associate producer of the syndicated “Johnjay & Rich Show” moves up to co-host joining Johnjay Van Es, Rich Berra and Kyle Unfug on the show. She succeeds Suzette Rodriguez. Rodriguez, who had been with Johnjay & Rich since November 2017, will move to afternoons on KZZP, which she previously hosted for a year before moving to the morning show.

The remainder of the KZZP schedule revision will see KIIS-FM Los Angeles night host EJ move from 12-4pm to 10am-2pm. Tino Cochino Radio will slide from 4-10pm to 7-11pm. Lauren Gonzalez will continue to track overnights.

iHeartMedia Phoenix’s 104.7 KISS FM, The Valley’s Number 1 Hit Music Station, announced today that Payton Whitmore will join “The Johnjay & Rich Show,” effective immediately. “The Johnjay & Rich Show” broadcasts weekdays from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.

“The Johnjay & Rich Show” features Johnjay Van Es, Rich Berra and Kyle Unfug who host segments such as Second Date Update, War of the Roses and #LoveUp Moments.

Payton Whitmore joins iHeartMedia Phoenix from Portland, Oregon as a new graduate and began her career at 104.7 KISS FM in April of 2021 as an associate producer of the “Johnjay & Rich Show.”

Payton replaces Suzette Rodriguez, who will be hosting her own afternoon drive show weekdays on 104.7 KISS FM from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and across iHeartMedia’s network of stations.
