The Pat McAfee Show is departing SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio after two years in the 12-3pm eastern time slot.
The former Indianapolis Colts punter joined SiriusXM in September 2020 after previously hosting 10am-12pm for 40 Cumulus Media owned Sports stations and then CBS Sports Radio. His show will continue to stream on YouTube while searching for a new audio distributor.
McAfee told the New York Post that the move was amicable but SiriusXM “never made an offer to continue our partnership”. He also added, “Sirius doesn’t provide any information on who/if anybody listens, so all of our business agreements with our other fantastic partners has been done strictly off of our YouTube and social media presences so it legitimately affects nothing other than we won’t be able to be listened to by whomever was potentially listening on SiriusXM.”
McAfee also serves as a commentator on WWE Smackdown and will provide alternate game coverage for six ESPN college football games this season.
