Positioning as “Owensboro’s Hit Music Station”, the new format succeeds Classic Hip Hop “100.5 The Vibe” creating a local format competitor to Midwest Communications’ “Hot 96” WSTO Owensboro, which focuses on the nearby Evansville IN market. The first songs heard on the new brand were Justin Timberlake “Selfish”, Chappell Roan “Good Luck Babe”, Khalid “Talk”, Camilla Cabello ft. Drake “Hot Uptown”, and Billie Eilish “Birds of a Feather”.
