Broadcast Hippo Digital Media Rhythmic Hot AC “Party 103.3” W277BI Toledo/WTOD-HD2 Delta OH has ceased operations after fifteen months.
The station’s morning show hosted by station operator ‘Andrew Z’ Zepeda and Demetrius Nicodemus will join Patton Advertising’s Country “107.7 The Wolf” WPFX-FM Luckey/Toledo on Tuesday, December 5. Prior to launching “Party 103.3“, Zepeda hosted mornings on iHeartMedia’s “92.5 Kiss-FM” WVKS from 2005 to 2010 and then Cumulus Media’s “100.7 The Vibe” W264AK and “Star 105” WWWM in 2011 and 2012 before legal issues ended both runs. Nicodemus spent nine years at WVKS from 2008 to 2017 as part of Zepeda’s morning show and its successors, while also working as a stand-up comic.
The “Party” brand had seen a revolving door of staffers and syndicated shows beside the morning show. Originally launching with a number of local shows, mixers and staffers, it most recently was running all syndication outside the morning show with Rick Dees in middays, Tino Cochino Radio in afternoons, and Liveline with Mason at night.
W277BI was leased from Fusion Radio LLC, while being fed from Delmarva Educational Association’s 106.5 WTOD-HD2. Both are currently off the air.
