Beasley Media Hip Hop “Power 98” WPEG surges up 5.5 to 6.6 to lead Charlotte with Ratings Expert Chris Huff noting that is WPEG’s first #1 showing since June 2014. iHeartMedia Country “96.9 The Kat” WKKT jumps up 5.2 to 6.4. Beasley Adult R&B “V101.9” WBAV is down slightly 5.7 to 5.6, while co-owned Country 103.7 WSOC holds at a 5.6. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “99.7 The Fox” slips to fifth down 6.7 to 5.3.
Beasley Media AC “K104.7” WKQC trends down 5.9 – 5.7 – 4.9, while Radio One News/Talk 1110 WBT/99.3 WBT-FM falls 4.7 to 3.9. Both CHRs rise with Beasley’s “Kiss 95.1” WNKS up 3.2 to 4.3 and iHeartMedia’s “Hits 96.1” WHQC up 3.4 – 3.6 – 3.8.
iHeartMedia Classic Hits “106.7 The Eagle” KLTH rises 7.2 to 8.1 to claim the Portland market lead. Public News/Talk 91.5 KOPB-FM dips 8.1 to 7.8 (but adds a 1.7 to 2.8 gain for its stream). iHeartMedia AC “K103” KKCW dips 6.4 to 6.3. Alpha Media News/Talk 101.1 KXL is down 5.8 to 5.5, while co-owned AAA 101.9 KINK trends up 4.0 – 4.5 – 4.9.
Both Country outlets slide down with Alpha’s “98.7 The Bull” KUPL moving 4.3 – 3.7 – 3.5 and Audacy’s “99.5 The Wolf” KWJJ falls 3.5 to 2.5. iHeartMedia CHR “Z100” KKRZ trends down 4.0 – 3.1 – 2.9.
Like it does in Atlanta, Cox Media Group takes four of the top five spots in San Antonio. Classic Hits 101.1 KONO-FM rises to first 6.7 to 7.2. iHeartMedia AC “Q101.9” KQXT jumps up 5.8 to 6.8. Cox’s trio of Hot AC “Magic 105.3” KSMG (7.0 to 6.7), Classic Rock “106.7 The Eagle” (6.4 to 5.8) and Country “Y100” KCYY (5.0 to 5.2) follow.
iHeartMedia Country “KJ97” KAJA falls 5.7 – 5.1 – 4.5. News/Talk 1200 WOAI drops 5.2 – 5.0 – 3.8, while Public News/Talk 89.1 KSTX is down 3.6 to 2.8. Alpha Media Conservative Talk 550 KTSA trends up 1.5 – 2.1 – 2.5.
iHeartMedia News/Talk 1530 KFBK/93.1 KFBK-FM dips 9.8 to 8.6 but remains on top of Sacramento. Audacy Classic Rock “Eagle 96.9” KSEG dips 8.6 to 8.4. Bonneville AC “Mix 96” KYMX trends up 6.7 – 7.0 – 7.8, while iHeartMedia Soft AC “92.5 The Breeze” KBEB is up 6.0 to 6.4. iHeartMedia Classic Hip Hop “V101” KHYL surges up 3.6 – 4.0 – 5.4 to move into a three-way tie with Audacy’s “98 Rock” KRXQ (5.9 to 5.4) and Public News/Talk 90.9 KXJZ (6.1 to 5.4).
Entravision Classic Country “Real Country 103.5” KNTY trends up 0.2 – 0.7 – 1.3 since its August launch.
Bonneville News/Talk 1160 KSL/102.7 KSL-FM Salt Lake City surges up 6.8 – 8.2 – 9.9 for what Huff notes is its largest share since October 2009. iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 570 KNRS/105.9 KNRS-FM also jumps up 5.0 – 6.3 – 6.8. KSOP Inc. Country “Z104” KSOP-FM trends up 5.9 – 6.1 – 6.7. Capitol Broadcasting AC “Now 97.9” KBZN
is up 6.2 to 6.4 to pull ahead of Bonneville’s competing AC “FM 100” KSFI (6.8 to 6.3).

Cox Adult R&B “Star 94.5” WCFB rises to the top of Orlando up 7.5 to 7.9. Audacy Classic Hits “105.9 Sunny-FM” WOCL rises 7.6 to 7.7, while iHeartMedia CHR “XL 106.7” WXXL dips 7.6 to 7.5. Cox Country “K92.3” WWKA is up 6.6 to 6.8, while co-owned Spanish CHR “Exitos 96.5” WOEX surges up to fifth 4.1 to 6.2.

For the second straight month TEGNA Sports “97.1 The Fan” WBNS-FM surges in Columbus as it rises 5.6 – 8.1 – 10.1, which Huff notes is the largest share for the station since Fall 1987. iHeartMedia CHR 97.9 WNCI rises 6.7 to 7.6. Public News/Talk 89.7 WOSU-FM slides 7.9 to 7.3. iHeartMedia Country 92.3 WCOL falls 7.9 to 6.9, while Saga Classic Rock “QFM 96” WLVQ rises 5.9 to 6.7.
Saga AC “Sunny 94.7” WSNY-FM stumbles 5.8 to 4.2. iHeartMedia Hip Hop “106.7 The Beat” WZCB trends up 1.8 – 2.5 – 3.0.
