Two Spanish language content providers and a station operations group are coming together.
The Carlos Moncada led MLC Media and Jose M. Villafañe’s Nueva Network and Costa Media will combine under the name De Novo One Media Group operating under the Nueva Network branding. MLC Media distributes shows, multiple 24/7 networks, prep services and other audio and video service. Nueva Network handles network sales and marketing for syndicated shows, while Costa Media owns or operates stations in multiple markets including Boston, Washington DC, San Antonio and Richmond.
MLC head Carlos Moncada will hold the majority ownership of the combined company overseeing business operations, finance, MLC Productions in the U.S. and Latin America, and Costa Media’s stations. Jose Villafañe will serve as as Managing Partner and CEO in charge of the company’s vision, growth strategy, and sales and marketing initiatives.
