Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, Miami, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Washington DC

94.7 The Drive Fresh-FM Tommy Show WIAD WashingtonPublic News/Talk 88.5 WAMU expands its DC lead rising 11.1 – 11.8 – 12.2 for its second highest share in station history according to Ratings Expert Chris Huff. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP dips 9.0 to 8.7. Atlantic Gateway Communications Christian AC 91.9 WGTS trends up 5.7 – 6.5 – 6.7. iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH is up 6.1 to 6.3. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR dips 6.0 to 5.9.

Audacy Classic Hits “94.7 The Drive” WIAD trends up 3.1 – 3.5 – 4.3. Cumulus Conservative Talk 105.9 WMAL-FM drops 4.5 – 4.1 – 3.7, iHeartMedia Alternative “DC 101” WWDC is down 3.8 – 3.5 – 2.8. Audacy Spanish CHR “El Zol 107.9″ WLZL is down 1.0 to 0.7.

Boston

98.5 The Sports Hub WBZ-FM BostonBeasley Media’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM trends up 7.3 – 9.4 – 10.5 to take a nearly 4 share lead on sister Classic Hits 105.7 WROR which drops 7.7 to 6.6. iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM rises 5.6 to 6.1. Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX trends down 6.4 – 5.9 – 5.5. iHeartMedia News 1030 WBZ is off 5.3 to 5.2.

Both Public News/Talk stations in Boston see election season gains. 90.9 WBUR trends up 4.0 – 4.3 – 4.5, while 89.7 WGBH-FM is up 2.3 – 3.0 – 3.6.

Both Boston Country outlets are on the decline with Beasley’s 102.5 WKLB moving 3.6 – 3.0 – 2.9 and iHeartMedia’s “101.7 The Bull” WBWL off 3.3 – 2.6 – 2.3. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX falls 3.3 – 2.9 – 2.6. iHeartMedia Hip Hop “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN drops 3.2 – 2.8 – 2.3.

Seattle/Tacoma

Northwest News Radio 1000 KNWN KOMO 97.7 SeattleBonneville’s combo remains on top with News/Talk 97.3 KIRO-FM dipping 7.1 to 7.0 to move ahead of co-owned “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO as it drops 7.6 to 6.6. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “95.7 The Jet” KJEB trends down 6.7 – 6.4 – 5.6. Lotus’ “Northwest Newsradio” 1000 KNWN/97.7 KNWN-FM rises 3.5 – 4.8 – 5.2 to tie for fourth with iHeartMedia Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK (4.7 to 5.2).

Hubbard AC “Warm 106.9” KRWM trends up 4.0 – 4.4 – 4.9. iHeartMedia Sports 93.3 KJR-FM is up 1.3 – 2.3 – 2.5. Lotus Conservative Talk 570 KVI gains 0.8 – 1.1 – 1.7.

Trending down is Audacy Classic Hip Hop “Hot 103.7” KHTP (3.7 – 2.9 – 2.6), while Lotus Hot AC “Star 101.5” KPLZ drops 2.3 to 1.7.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale

Easy 93.1 WFEZ MiamiCox Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ rises 8.4 to 9.1 to expand its lead over sister Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT (8.0 to 7.9). Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF (5.5 to 5.8) and Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR (5.6 to 5.8) tie for third. SBS Spanish Oldies “Zeta 92.3” WCMQ-FM holds at a 5.3 share.

Audacy Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ slips 4.6 to 3.6. Cox Hip Hop “99 Jamz” WEDR slips 4.4 – 3.6 – 3.4, while iHeartMedia’s “103.5 The Beat” WMIB is down 3.1 – 2.7 – 2.4.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Big 105.9” WBGG-FM is up 2.4 – 2.7 – 3.1. Actualidad Media Group Spanish Talk “Actualidad 1040” WURN rises 1.8 – 2.1 – 2.5.

Phoenix

David Moore 100.7 KSLX PhoenixPublic News/Talk 91.5 KJZZ-FM continues to hold the Phoenix market lead as it falls off its record high last month 7.9 to 7.3. iHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ is up 6.6 to 6.9. Hubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX trends up 5.3 – 6.1 – 6.5. iHeartMedia Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT rises 4.3 to 4.7. Desert Valley Broadcasting Oldies “94.9/95.1 The Wow Factor” KOAI (4.5 to 4.2) and Audacy CHR “Live 101.5” KALV (4.6 to 4.2) tie for fifth.

After relaunching in late September as “Big 94.5“, Audacy Classic Hits KOOL-FM rises 2.8 to 3.3.

iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 550 KFYI rises 3.1 to 3.7. Hubbard Rock 97.9 KUPD is up 2.7 to 3.2.

iHeart Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP falls 4.4 to 3.7. Sierra H Classic Hip Hop “101 The Bounce” KZCE slips 3.9 – 3.6 – 3.3. Audacy Country 107.9 KMLE trends down 3.9 – 3.3 – 2.9.

97.1 The Ticket WXYT DetroitAudacy Sports “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT-FM takes the Motor City lead despite dipping 7.1 to 6.8. Huff notes that it is its first time atop Detroit since October 2016, while its stream adds an additional 1.7 share. Beasley Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX falls 7.4 to 6.4. Audacy’s Variety Hits “104.1 Jack-FM” KZJK trends down 6.9 – 6.0 – 5.5, while sister News/Talk 830 WCCO falls 5.6 – 4.8 – 4.1.

Local Media San Diego CHR “Z90” XHTZ trends up 3.0 – 3.4 – 3.5 to overtake iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 93.3” KHTS-FM which slips 3.7 – 3.5 – 3.2.

Audacy Sports “97.3 The Fan” has one of the largest percentage of online listeners as the FM signal moves 2.9 to 2.7, while its stream trends up 0.8 – 1.6 – 2.0.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock 101.5 KGB-FM falls 4.7 – 4.4 – 3.5. Local Media San Diego Alternative “91X” XETRA-FM trends down 2.3 – 1.9 – 1.7.

Baltimore

Mix 106.5 WWMX BaltimoreAudacy AC “Today’s 101.9” WLIF remains in the Baltimore lead despite a 9.5 – 9.0 – 7.8 trend. Radio One Adult R&B “Magic 95.9” WWIN-FM rises 6.5 to 7.4. iHeartMedia Variety Hits “102.7 Jack-FM” WQSR slips 7.7 to 7.1. Audacy Sports “105.7 The Fan” WJZ-FM is off 5.9 to 5.8.
