Norsan Media has announced the acquisition of JVC Broadcasting’s stations in Orlando FL for an undisclosed amount.
Norsan will acquire Conservative Talk “Florida Man Radio” 103.1 WFYY Windermere and Sports “ESPN 660” WDYZ Altamonte Springs/105.5 W288CJ Oviedo with flips to Spanish language formats to follow. CEO Natalia Sanchez Alvarez says, “This is not only the 9th market the company will have operations in, but it’s a strategic move to embed within the thriving local Hispanic community in Orlando and foster genuine connections there. Norsan Media was founded by Norberto Sanchez in 2004 and currently owns 40+ radio stations, 4 television stations, and regional print/digital publications. Its holding company NORSAN dates to 1987 and operates 18 restaurants.
JVC Broadcasting will retain its stations in Long Island NY and Fort Walton Beach and Ocala FL.
