The New York Festivals® Radio Awards has announced the 2025 Grand Jury and three people from Asia are a part of it.
They inclde two Indians: Swarup BR, Co-Founder/Creative Director, Stark Communications and Anurita Patel, Executive Vice President, National Programming Director, Radio City/Music Broadcast Ltd. along with Mikyung Shin, Executive Producer, BeFM / Busan English Broadcasting Foundation from South Korea. Steve Ahern, OAM, Publisher, Radioinfo & Radio Today is also a part of the jury.
The 2025 Radio Awards Grand Jury features over 100 global leaders from the radio industry across six continents. This distinguished panel comprises world-class content creators, industry visionaries, and iconic voices. Recruited from renowned companies, these directors, producers, journalists, writers, and sound artists are celebrated for their innovation and engaging storytelling. NYF’s esteemed jurors excel in producing captivating content across various genres and platforms, including documentary, entertainment, news, sports, and corporate image.
Entries are evaluated based on production values, creativity, content presentation, direction, writing, achievement of purpose, and audience suitability.
The roster of top-tier companies represented by the 2025 Grand Jury includes international networks, radio stations, production studios, and publishing houses. Notable companies with executives on the Grand Jury include BBC, Radio Mitre S.A., SiriusXM Radio, Radio Express International (USA), and Blue Revolution (UK). Additional contributors include NASA/JPL, Bauer Media Audio Ireland, Bay FM Radio 99.9, Radio New Zealand, Athena Media, Radio City/Music Broadcast Ltd., B7 Productions Limited, Accompany Studios, National University of Cuyo, BeFM / Busan English Broadcasting Foundation, RAI, Faïdos Sonore/Créations sonores, Corea Studios, and Naleppa Audio Productions.
