New Programming Leadership & Lineup Set At 101.7 The Truth Milwaukee

101.7 The Truth 1510 WGKB WRRD Waukesha MilwaukeeGood Karma Brands Black Talk “101.7 The Truth” 1510 WGKB Waukesha/101.7 W269DL Milwaukee WI has announced new programming leadership and a revised lineup taking effect on Monday, January 20.

Sean Thompson joins the station as Director of Content. Thompson most recently served as Program Director for Bonneville’s “Arizona Sports 98.7” KMVP-FM Phoenix from January 2022 to June 2023. He also spent a decade as APD of Audacy’s “92.9 The Game” WZGC Atlanta, programmed and hosted at Good Karma’s “ESPN Madison” WTLX and spent five years as an Affiliate Relations Manager for Westwood One.

Operations Manager Kyle Wallace, who also currently co-hosts “Kyle, Brust, & Nortman” on sister Sports “ESPN 94.5” WKTI, will transition to a new role as Director of Community Relations while adding a new 12-1pm show “Truth to Power with Kyle Wallace”. The show is described as being to “amplify diverse voices and perspectives, tackling a wide range of topics, from sports and culture to trending headlines and community issues.”

Wallace will replace “Jammin’ with Juice” with Benjamin Hooks and Carrie Mahone as they move to mornings from 7-9am. The current morning show “Truth Be Told With Telly and DT” hosted by Telly Hughes and Denise Thomas has come to an end. Denise Thomas will join Dr. Ken Harris to host a new weekly show “The Truth Unfiltered” on Mondays at 6pm.
