New members join the Cambridge 105 Radio board

Two new members have been appointed to the board of Cambridge 105 Radio.

Hilary Cox Condron and Vanessa Ackerman will work to ‘give a voice to all parts of the community’, working alongside volunteers at Cambridgeshire’s community radio station.

The station’s director, Trevor Dann, says: “Hilary and Vanessa will play a vital role in the next part of Cambridge 105 Radio’s journey and we’re thrilled to have them on board.”

Hilary, who is also an artist and local Concillor, says: “I love Cambridge. Sharing stories and the love of where we live is important and local radio gives a voice to local people in a way social media and print is unable to do. It’s great to be a part of the team I’ve listened to for many years.”

Vanessa, an acting tutor and writer, says: “I’m excited to be able to contribute to the station and help explore Cambridge from a new angle. Cambridge is home to many people from all over the world and radio is a good way of bringing people together.”
