Selina Ross and Tony Shepherd, both former presenters with Wave 105, are joining Nation Radio South.
They join Steve Power who has already made the move from Bauer to Nation, and is now hosting Drive (and weekend shows) on Nation, plus breakfast on Nation’s Easy Radio.
Selina, who co-hosted Drive with Steve at Wave, will reprise her old role, and also present travel news in breakfast with Neil Fox across the former Wave TSA. She’s also now on-air at DevonAir.
At weekends, former afternoon and weekend presenter at Wave, Tony Shepherd joins Nation on Saturday 11th May from 10am until 2pm every week.
Selina said; “I’m so pleased be back with Steve and looking forward to working with Dr Fox in the mornings. After 20 years in the patch, I know how important travel news is to the South and I’m looking forward to keeping Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight moving!”.
Tony said; “It’s great to be on air again with one of the South’s best radio stations. I love the mix of music on Nation and can’t wait to join its great on-air team and keeping the South entertained and up to date at the weekend.”
Nation’s Founder Jason Bryant said; “With live streaming numbers for Nation Radio South at record highs, we already know that thousands of new listeners have moved across to enjoy Nation’s great variety of hits.
“I’m delighted to welcome Selina and Tony to the Nation team and have no doubt that they will help us on our ambitious plans to grow our business in the South.”
Wave 105 was rebranded to Greatest Hits Radio just over a month ago.
