Nation Broadcasting’s Breezy Radio expands to the south coast of England

Nation Broadcasting is adding Breezy Radio to DAB in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.

Nation Broadcasting already reaches over half a million listeners each month according to the latest RAJAR via its agreement to franchise Greatest Hits Radio South Coast and Hits Radio South Coast services.

The station will also be available online to listeners and on the Nation Player app.

Nation’s Managing Director Martin Mumford said: “The south is a key, fast-growing market for Nation Broadcasting. Breezy Radio will complement our existing services and extend the commercial and marketing opportunities we can offer our growing customer base in the region.”

Stewart Dennis, Nation’ Broadcasting’s Commercial Director for the south said; “It’s great to be able to offer our local and regional clients a further station to target large audiences across the south.

“We know that Breezy Radio’s mix of non-stop relaxing favourites cuts through in key demographics such as homemakers and is also a strong all-day listening format, delivering great listener loyalty.”

Breezy Radio will appear on the Now Digital South Hampshire DAB Multiplex and the “Bournemouth” Now Digital multiplex (which covers most of Dorset) from Monday 27th June 2022.

The brand first appeared in south Wales in April this year as a replacement for Swansea Bay Radio.
