My Country 100.5 Debuts In Wichita

Murfin Media continues to relaunch its recently acquired properties in Wichita as Country “My Country 100.5” debuted this morning.

The station becomes the company’s seventh identically branded station in the state of Kansas featuring a mix of current, classic and Red Dirt Country. All of them feature Megan Marie in middays and Program Director Colby Ericson in afternoons. The stations also carry Ericson’s Red Dirt Country “35 South Radio” on Fridays from 2-6pm.

KVWF joins a heated Country battle in Wichita. SummitMedia’s 101.3 KFDI currently leads the market with an 8.9 share in the April 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings. iHeartMedia’s “102.1 The Bull” KZSN is third with a 7.2 share. Summit’s “Classic Country 1070” KFTI adds an additional 1.3 share, while Giddyup Radio’s rimshot 107.9 KWLS-FM does not subscribe to Nielsen.
