My Broadcasting Corporation has acquired a pair of FMs serving the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and rimshotting into the Buffalo NY market.
The Jon Pole and Andrew Dickson led company will add Wellport Broadcasting’s “Country 89” 89.1 CKYY-FM and Classic Rock “Giant-FM” 91.7 CIXL-FM Welland ON for an undisclosed price. The deal will give My Broadcasting Corporation eighteen stations across Ontario.
MY BROADCASTING CORPORATION announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire two radio stations in Welland, Ontario from Wellport Broadcasting Limited/RB Communications Ltd. The Acquisition will include market leading GIANT FM (CIXL‐FM) and Country 89 (CKYY‐FM).

Financial terms of the transaction, which awaits CRTC approval, have not been disclosed.
