Mustang 107.1 Adds Wilhite & Wall For Mornings And Ricky Z For Middays

Delta Media Classic Country “Mustang 107.1” KOGM Opelousas/Lafayette LA has announced the addition of the Wilhite & Wall morning show and Rick ‘Ricky Z’ Zeisig as midday host.

Wilhite & Wall’s syndicated show succeeds Tanya Ardoin in mornings. Ardoin will continue to host weekends in addition to middays at sister AAA “106.3 Radio Lafayette” KYMK. Zeisig will track middays from Chattanooga TN, where he serves as Director of Brewer Media Group’s Chattanooga Traffic Network.

Delta Media announced that the Wilhite and Wall Show debuted on 107.1 Monday January 17th and will air Monday – Friday from 6a-10am.

Delta Media is excited to bring this award-winning morning show to Acadiana. Wilhite and Wall has been entertaining country music audiences for years. The show has received two CMA awards and was once deemed the highest rated morning show in the United States.
Darren Wilhite is a native of Arkansas and Tim Wall is from Missouri. Both are die-hard country music fans. The easy-going nature of this duo will be a fresh and fun addition to Mustang 107.1’s morning radio.

Ricky Z is now part of Mustang 1071, a Delta Media Corporate station. Mustang 1071 added Ricky Z to middays 10am to 3pm on December 17, 2021.

Ricky Z is an award-winning radio and television personality. Rick Zeisig was in the 6th grade when he decided that he wanted a career in radio. He landed his first job in broadcasting during his junior year in high school and since then, has not looked back. He has been rated as one of the top announcers in his market.

Zeisig studied Communications at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and currently lives in Dalton, Georgia. During his career, he has won numerous awards including 3 awards with the Cable Television Association of Georgia for Best Local Show in the state of Georgia two years in a row. Zeisig was also the inaugural winner of the CTAG (Cable Television Association of Georgia) Award for community service in the North GA area.
Rick Zeisig was selected as the Best Local DJ in The Daily Citizen-News first ever “Best of Northwest GA” edition and named the 2020 “Life Inspiration Award” honoree by the Chattanooga chapter of The American Cancer Society. He is a two-time throat cancer survivor. Zeisig is an advocate for cancer patients and volunteers for non-profit organizations that support cancer awareness.

Rick Zeisig expressed his excitement by saying, “I love how passionate the people of Acadiana are for the culture of this part of Louisiana and Mustang 107-1’s blend of Real Country Variety which includes Outlaw Red Dirt, Cajun, Creole, Southern Rock and Classic Country.
