More Lineup Changes At Radio 95.1

The ongoing cuts at iHeartMedia have led to yet another lineup change at Hot Talk “Radio 95.1” WAIO Honeoye Falls/Rochester NY.

The “Newman and The Mayor” show hosted by Jeremy Newman and Pete ‘The Mayor’ Kennedy has come to an end after just three months as Kennedy has exited the company. Newman continues to host afternoons at “Country 100.5” WDVI Rochester. Their 9-11am slot has been taken by the syndicated Rover’s Morning Glory, which will also continue to air delayed at night from 6-10pm. The Shane ‘Rover’ French led show was previously heard in mornings in Rochester from 2006 to 2020 on Alternative “94.1 The Zone” WZNE.

Kennedy was also hosting 4-7pm on regional AC’s “Y94” WYYY Syracuse, “Mix 103.3” WMXW Binghamton, and “Sunny 102.3” WVOR Canandaigua. He joined the company in 2012 as morning host at Hot AC “100.5 The Drive” WDVI after two decades at CHR 97.9 WPXY and three years in middays at Variety Hits “98.9 the Buzz” WBZA.
